7 years ago we opened our window for the very first time. It was our trial run and we invited all of our close friends and family. We cooked for 100 and 48 showed up for us. 🫶🏻

The things we heard was - “how is this going to work, with Marcus being sick”

“How are yall going to live off of a food truck?”

“Not many make it”

Well here’s the thing- I don’t listen and I just GO! Don’t get me wrong many times we wanted to throw in the towel and just got back into the corporate world. Steady check is a lot better than hoping an event will make us money.

Mijo’s wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for all the sacrifices we have made to keep going! You see working with your husband 24 hours a day can be challenging but rewarding. We’ve learned to communicate better and he has definitely showed me slow to anger. 🤭 ( still in progress)

As we prepare to go our 7th year and man how time has flown! I’m proud of how Mijo’s is grown and continues to grow. Yes, we may not have a second truck but those who know, understand where our Mijo’s growth went to! 🌱

My thing has always been to throw and celebrate Mijo’s birthday but because our packed schedule- time is limited. Don’t worry we have something for you all- stay tuned.😉
