Thai Thai restaurant has been in Lubbock, Tx for 22 years and is owned and operated by Radium and Ooan Rittiluechai. ChooChai Restaurant on 19th street was originally owned and operated by ChooChai and Pranom Rittiluechai and is the first Thai restaurant to establish.

On May 14th, 2026: While waiting for the big boss to come back from Japan in Las Vegas, I have the opportunity to take the CEO to his preschool and pick him up later. It reminds me of the year 1988, the first year of Thai Thai; I dropped my son off at 2nd Baptist's preschool on 52nd and Elgin. I watched my son cry for a week after I dropped him off. This time I dropped my grandson off, and he walked into his classroom smiling. I sure miss the old days.
