The mornings are getting cooler, the ovens are getting warmer, and Wyld Provisions’ Fall Menu is OPEN.

Think gooey brown butter cinnamon rolls, warm cardamom buns, thick bakery-style cookies, pumpkin spice, blackberry cream cheese, apple crumble & whatever seasonal goodness I feel inspired to pull from the oven that week.

Everything is made from scratch, baked in small batches, and meant to taste like fall in the mountains.

The doors are open. Coffee’s hot. Come stay awhile. ☕️🌲

It’s one of those mornings at Southfork.

Rain hanging in the mountains.
The river rolling by.
A little chill in the air that makes you wrap both hands around a hot cup of coffee.

And inside?

Fresh cinnamon rolls. Warm pastries. Butter, brown sugar & cinnamon still hanging in the air from the morning bake.

Grab a roll and a cup of coffee and take them out to the deck. Watch the clouds move through the canyon while the sun slowly finds its way over the river.

No rush. No traffic. No place you need to be for a minute.

Or, if you’re just passing through Lowman—come through the open doors, grab something warm for the road, and keep heading into the mountains.

It’s Blackberry season 😍
Blackberry everything on the menu coming up!
What’s your favorite blackberry recipe?

Also, these huge berries were grown & picked locally (ish) by the sweetest couple!
One of my favorite things to do is incorporate local ingredients into the menu.
Rhubarb, strawberries, huckleberries, blackberries, I’m here for it all!

A guy came into the lodge a week ago and told me “I’ve came in every weekend and bought a cinnamon roll, I’ve actually bought 8 total, they are amazing!”

Well Mr, I hope you bought one from this batch because this has been the best recipe so far.

I have base recipes that work for single batches, but since moving to the Southfork, I have challenged myself to find recipes that work for larger batches, and match the atmosphere of the lodge. I’ve tried so many different styles of cinnamon rolls, all of which were yummy, but not what I was actually going for.
Untill this recipe.
This is the one.
Cream cheese icing or not, these rolls deliver 😎

I’ve also come to conclusion that my rolls and buns just don’t taste the same if they are mixed with the large stand mixer. So by hand, I knead every batch, to give that homemade scratch made taste everybody loves

🌞 New goodies have been hitting the pastry case lately, and honestly… I’m still wrapping my head around it.

I’ve been pushing myself outside my comfort zone, trying new things, taking risks, and it’s been paying off in the sweetest ways.

Sunday morning I made four different flavors of Danish pastries, and within 30 minutes, two full trays were gone. Just like that.

There have been so many mornings lately where I can’t seem to keep up with demand and things sell out faster than I can make them. It’s a problem I never imagined I’d have.

Truthfully, I’m still in that surreal phase where I can’t quite believe people genuinely enjoy my baking. Every now and then that little voice pops up and says, “Maybe they’re just being nice…” 😂 Funny how old stories like to surface when you’re building something new.

But I’m learning to trust what I see: people come back, they bring their friends, and they keep supporting this little dream of mine.

What surprises me most is this community. I never expected such a small mountain town to show up the way it has, and I don’t have enough words to express how grateful I am.

I can’t promise every batch will be exactly the same—because baking is part science, part art, and part chaos—but I can promise every single thing that comes out of my kitchen is made with quality ingredients, a whole lot of care, and plenty of love. ❤️

Japanese style cupcakes with cream cheese icing.
Chocolate & Vanilla 🧁

I use to struggle with cupcakes and the consistency of the batter. But I found a new way of making them, which is referred to as “Japanese Style” and they turned out amazing!

The key is to whip the eggs non stop, add sugar, add dry, continuous whipping with a hand be**er.

Baking isn’t just about the ingredients, it’s how it is all assembled 👩🏼‍🍳

Yesterday I made a quick batch of apple hand pies & before the day was over they sold out 🤯
So today, I made another batch & made them bigger, with a cinnamon pie crust!

They won’t last long! Only at Southfork Lodge

(No bites taken out of the ones at the lodge….maybe 👀)
