Why'd we make a burger with ranch on it? Because it seems like that's what people in Michigan want?
I've worked in this industry for almost 30 years and one thing I've learned. Folks around here like their ranch.
Anyone that has waited tables for more than a year has gotten out of work one busy night, laid down in bed and then out of nowhere thought, "I forgot that guys ranch that he asked me for!"
It's a real thing and it keeps you awake for longer than it should.
If you're craving a burger with Michigan White Ketchup, as I call it, Monday Burger Night is where it's at. Starts at 4pm and gets you a burger with Housemade chips, and Housemade beer for just $10

I eat Hop Hog a lot. More than you I'm sure.
I go through phases. I'm a sandwich person by nature and I get down on a Burger. Our Mac and cheese puts most to shame but lately I'm on a Wing kick.
Probably once a week, I get Wings right now.
Best day to get them though is on Wednesday. Half off Wings from 4-close.

I had two pictures to choose from for this burger. One without this little annoying piece of onion on the bun or the one with it.
Why am I choosing the one with the little human error on it?
IDK. My ADHD is screaming at me to post the other one.
But... We're not perfect. We're human. We make human errors. Little like this onion and sometimes big.
I think that sometimes, as a society, we feel the need to portray ourselves as "Instagram Perfect".
That's a lot of pressure that we put on ourselves.
All I can say is that, part of the human condition of Hop Hog is to strive for perfection but understand the human element still exists.
So here I am, with the opportunity to show you a "perfect" burger for Burger Night and instead we're not AI. We're humans.
Burger Night starts at 4pm. If you don't come because of that little onion on the bun in the picture, I guess I've made a mistake.

Today is the day!!

11 am starts the brews
12 noon starts the BBQ competition!!

They will announce the winners between 530p and 6p.

Theres a beautiful park, a beautiful bridge walk yummy bbq and of course the brews!

Our Bob Ross "happy little accident" the "Frickles" (fried pickles and banana peppers) just turned 4 years old today.
What started as a bit of an accident turned into one of our highest selling appetizers.
