Feeling you like you need a little medicine after the weekend? Come by on Thursday and we'll serve you up a classic: Father John's Medicine!

In 1855, Father John's Medicine was made and manufactured right here in Lowell. This was a nonalcoholic cough medicine made from cod liver oil that tasted of licorice.

Our own Father John's Medicine is made from a licorice syrup, soda, and a spoonful of cod liver oil. Try it for a little taste of history!

Did you know that the soda fountain was originally invented in Lowell, MA?! "Gustavus D. Dows invented and operated the first marble soda fountain and ice shaver, which he patented in 1863. It was housed in a miniature cottage..."

Our humble little soda counter is a little tribute to the history that started right here in Lowell. Come by and experience it yourself!

The first soda fountain patent was granted to Samuel Fahnestock in 1819. Learn about the manufacturers, the history, and soda fountains today.
