Viv, Dylan, and I made our way to the Stark County Fair representing UnHitched this weekend. Came away with winning bids for a hog and steer. Always feels good supporting our local 4-Hers from Louisville. Raegan Samblanet with her hog....Viv's cousin too. We also buy ducks from Raegan's sister Morgan every year.

Then in the afternoon we bid on Caden Thorn's steer. I remember Caden when he was a tiny toddler watching his sister, Viv and all the girls playing softball together. Now he towers over me and has one hell of a haircut!

And what happens to all that meat? I'm pretty sure our kitchen crew will find a way to highlight some on our menu. But the vast majority is going straight to our crew to take home and enjoy with their own families.

And beyond the bidding, Calvin (son of George Kiko UnHitched owner) made his debut on the fair podium. I'm sure that was a proud dad moment.

And our girl Cricket Slack made her debut at the fair with her pygmy goats Randal and Ernie....and she left with some hardware!!!

Lots of hardworking kids enjoying the fruits of their labor this weekend.
