Today in our Crystal Ballroom, The Brown Hotel is honored to celebrate the 95th birthday of a louisville legend Elmer Lucille Allen. Born on August 23, 1931, she is an American Artist and chemist. In 1966, she became the first African-American chemist at Brown Forman. Her accomplishments are too expansive to list but on behalf of the team at The Brown Hotel, Happy 95th Lucille. What a privilege it is to host you, your family and friends.
