When Toki Masabuchi, one of Louisville's most talented chefs, left Maido Essential Japanese Cuisine to focus on her other restaurant, Dragon King's Daughter, many of us who've come to love Maido worried about the restaurant's fate. Happily, it seems to be in quite good hands.

Soup's on!! Per your request, we are now serving our famous Kabocha Squash soup. We also have Kinoko Soup...egg drop soup mixed with sh*take mushrooms, drizzled with chili oil, and topped with fried rice noodles.
