I have soooo much respect for content creators because why does talking to a camera suddenly make me forget every thought I’ve ever had???
I’m behind the camera way more than I’m in front of it. It’s where I’m comfortable and It’s what I’m good at.
I’m constantly telling my clients that people want to see the person behind the business!! They want to see and get to know YOU!
So I decided, I can’t keep preaching it if I’m not willing to do it myself.
Even if this is literally me when the camera flips around: 👁️👄👁️
But I refuse to preach to my clients “get in front of the camera” while I’m hiding behind it
So business owners… I’m doing it too.
The (many many many) awkward takes. The blank stares and the “wait what was I saying??” The watching it back and immediately wanting to delete it. ALL OF IT
So we’re getting uncomfortable and showing up anyway. Because we’re in this together 🤝
And if I tell you to post the video, just know there’s a 99% chance I had to give myself the exact same pep talk!!
Anyway, here’s my charcuterie business!!
And because I showed up as the charcuterie owner and not the content creator this day, I really don’t have a dang thing to show for it but these seven outtakes and one final photo from the day, everything in between was a missed opportunity!!
