This morning, I have the honor of making Hayley’s 18th birthday cake!
I am OBSESSED with the color she picked out! But for some reason, making cakes for my close family is WAY more stressful than making one for a stranger that places an order with us.

Today we are celebrating my oldest, Hayley, turning 18 years old! Ahhh! I honestly don’t know if I’m more excited for her and this next chapter or if I want to hide in my bed with a tub of ice cream and cry!

Hayley, I am so incredibly proud of the young woman you are becoming. You have an amazing heart for God and a fierce, unbreakable spirit. I admire your drive, determination, and the way you give your all to everything you do.

Watching you grow from my little girl into the woman you are today has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I can’t wait to see where God leads you and all the amazing things you will accomplish.

We had the pleasure of baking a cake this week. Don’t worry, this picture is just the start, not the final look. Along the way, we were reminded that in the world of Made With Love Catering, you don’t always need all the fancy equipment—you just need a little creativity!

No decorating turntable? No problem! We grabbed a large container that the cake fit perfectly on, and it worked like a charm.

Behind every cake (and every event) there’s usually a little organized chaos, a lot of problem-solving, and plenty of “let’s make this work!” moments.

That’s just part of doing what we love—and we wouldn’t have it any other way! ❤️

🎉 Happy First Day of School to my girls! 🎉

How is this even possible?! Hayley is starting her senior year and Kaitlyn is officially a sophomore! I truly can’t believe how grown they are.

These girls are the reason I do what I do. They are the reason I started Made With Love Catering. They are the reason I continue to push myself, take chances, and work so hard to grow this business.

I want them to see that it’s okay to take the leap. To follow your passion. To dream BIG. And to go after those dreams even when other people might think they’re a little crazy. And that you can create the life you dream about when you’re willing to believe in yourself and put in the work.

So here’s to a new school year, big dreams, and two incredible girls who inspire me every single day. I’m so proud to be their momma!

What an amazing back-to-school weekend with my girls! Such a quick turnaround trip, but it was 100% worth it!

Even though the trip was short, it was the perfect chance to slow down, relax, make some memories, and just enjoy being together. Definitely a MUCH different kind of weekend than the crazy wedding weekend we had last week! 😂

And now… I’m officially NOT ready to have a sophomore and a senior this year! Time seriously needs to slow down!

When you walk into an event, you see the beautiful food displays, smiling faces, and everything coming together seamlessly. What you don’t see are the days of planning, prepping, cooking, packing, loading, unloading, setting up, and the organized chaos that happens behind the scenes.

There are plenty of laughs, countless memories, and yes... maybe even a tear or two along the way. ❤️

Oh my goodness… we shared the video of the taco and nacho bar from this past weekend’s wedding, but somehow forgot to post the video of the charcuterie display! 

Cocktail hour is one of our favorite parts of any wedding. There’s something special about watching guests gather around the table, catch up with family and friends, and enjoy delicious bites before the celebration continues.

This stunning 6-foot charcuterie table featured a 3-tier cheeseball “wedding cake” centerpiece, and it was such a fun focal point! The best part? Every table is fully customizable with your favorite meats, cheeses, fruits, crackers, and other delicious additions to fit your style and taste.

What an incredible weekend celebrating the marriage of Mitchell and Grace Stengel! 💍🤍

Our team had the honor of catering their beautiful wedding, and it was one to remember! Guests enjoyed a stunning 6-foot charcuterie table featuring a three-tier cheeseball cake as the centerpiece before digging into a taco and nacho bar that kept everyone fueled for a night of dancing and celebrating.

We have to admit—we were watching the forecast just as closely as the wedding party! We were all hoping the rain would hold off so Grace could have her dream outdoor ceremony at the gorgeous Woods at Cedar Springs. Thankfully, the skies cooperated!

Congratulations, Mitchell and Grace! Thank you for trusting Made With Love Catering to be part of such a special day. We wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories! ❤️
