Today will be our last day of service for the very weird, and most challenging year, 2020. If you need your gralehaus fix, you can place your carry-out orders or stop by to dine outside until 1pm.

Our team feels very lucky to have such a wonderful community supporting us... and some of the best “regulars” anywhere! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness.

We will be back, better than ever, either when we feel it is safe to open our doors for indoor dining, or when weather is more optimal for outdoor dining.

In the meantime, Everyone stay safe, wear your masks, and keep supporting Louisville’s incredible independent restaurants and bars. Winter is already (w/o a worldwide pandemic) a tough season for any restaurant/bar to survive, so in order to prevent anymore closures, we all need to do our part by regularly supporting our favorite food & beverage spots. Order direct (avoid 3rd party delivery), order on weekdays when more support is needed (most places are busy enough on the weekend), and tip generously. See ya’ll on the other side of this s**t show of a year!!!

Today will be one of our last few services of 2020 at gralehaus, (final service is next Sunday, December 20th.) We have decided to hibernate for the winter and look forward to serving you when conditions improve in 2021.

We kindly ask for your support, this weekend and next, by placing carry-out orders online, stopping by to enjoy our outdoor dining (dress warm!), or send a virtual tip to these lovelies (just scroll down our webpage).

Ken is finished with the German LFL! Isn't it gorgeous?! He even put REAL shingles on the roof so it will be protected in all weather conditions!

I'm tentatively planning a "Grand Opening" from 4 - 5 PM on Sunday, November 22. More about that soon!

We are beyond thrilled to be selected for the location of Louisville's 'German Little Free Library' 🇩🇪📚!!!!!

Thank you to Bridget Klein and Ken Tench for making "dieses kleine Haus der Bücher" a reality 🙏 We cannot wait to share our favorite german books / music / media with the community!

This Little Free Library is a place to share and find multimedia in and about the German language and German-speaking countries and their cultures. Materials are primarily in German.
