Chapter 5 Begins ❤️‍🔥

To our Hip Hop Sweet Shop family…
We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU. ❤️
After a lot of thought, reflection, and some incredibly trying times, Hip Hop Sweet Shop is temporarily closed, and we will no longer be operating from our 18th Street location.
But this is NOT goodbye. 👀🔥
We’re getting ready to bring back the HHSS MOBILE BAKERY, and we couldn’t be more excited about what’s next!

Before we turn the page, we want y’all to know just how much we appreciate you. You have rocked with us through the good, the bad, the ugly, the celebrations, the setbacks, the tears, the victories, and everything in between.
You supported us when things were amazing, and you continued to show love when things were HARD.
WE SEE YOU. WE THANK YOU. WE LOVE YOU DEARLY. ❤️

Hip Hop Sweet Shop would NOT be who we are without the people who have supported us throughout this journey. Every purchase, share, comment, visit, kind word, recommendation, and simple “I’m rooting for y’all” has meant more than you know.

Y’all… this heat is NO JOKE! 🔥☀️

According to the forecast, it's going to be 94° today, 97° tomorrow, and 98° on Sunday, with high humidity making it feel 100°+!!!!!!!!!

As yall know by now, we unfortunately do not have air conditioning, and we have to put the safety and comfort of our customers and our team FIRST. ❤️

🚨 THEREFORE, WE WILL BE CLOSED THIS SUNDAY, 8/16/26, DUE TO THE EXTREME HEAT.

We also want to give yall a heads up that we may have to close early TODAY (Friday) and TOMORROW (Saturday) if the heat inside becomes too unbearable or unsafe.

Come early if you can & please check our page for updates before heading our way. 🙏🏾

We truly appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support. We hate having to close, but your safety—and the safety of our staff—comes first.
