Welp, time to post the heavy stuff y'all!
Long story short, I am taking a step back from tea crafting and markets. I realized over the course of this year that tea crafting and markets had gone from a passion to something that felt like a chore for me, and I feel like it was beginning to show in my presentation as well as marketing. I was feeling drained and burnt out, and I need to take a step back, maybe indefinitely.
I've been selling my teas for 3 years now, and i cannot BEGIN to describe how much joy that brought into my life. I'm talking I have learned new and exciting things about myself, I have formed bonds with people and other crafters that havr shared their light with me when i neededit most, and I learned how to just try and have fun with the things i do and to throw caution to the wind and do what it is that I want to do.
I can't say for sure if and when I will be returning. Frankly, I don't know what the future holds for me. Maybe in 6 months I'll come back into it with a newfound zest, or maybe it'll return to just being a hobby of mine.
What I can do, is to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for the people who have supported this journey over the past 3 years. Thank you for letting this nerdy queerio share his love of tea, mythology, folklore, and cackling with everybody who graced me with their presence. Thank you for letting me share sooo much of myself and my energy with all of you and for the love that you reciprocated it with.
I will be doing one last weekend up pop up this coming weekend at Logan Street Market! Times will be posted closer to that day. But come on out and say hi! Give a hug, whatever feels right.
Again, thank you.
Keep cackling y'all!
