It sure is a hot day! I hope a lot of people come to River fest. It is a great event. However, if the heat gets to be too much for you, the Carmichael Restaurant and Tavern is just a few blocks up the road. Feel free to stop in and enjoy the air conditioning and a cold drink (beer, tea, soda). We are also serving a full menu tonight including Big Piney Livestock LLC steaks. Have fun! Stay safe!!

Hi, y'all! The Carmichael is officially under new management. We are very excited to serve our community. We are open tonight and tomorrow, but we are closing for the Fourth of July weekend. We will reopen on Tuesday, July 8.
I would like some feedback on a few of the changes we are thinking about implementing.
We will be serving steaks that are locally raised by Big Piney Livestock. What kind of steaks would you like to have? T-bone, sirloin, ribeye, NY strip? Let me know.
I've also been dying for homegrown tomato sandwiches!
What do you think about a seasonal menu that has tomato sandwiches, bologna with lettuce and tomato, grilled cheese, simple summer sandwiches with a side of fries for under $10.
Opinions and suggestions are absolutely welcome!

We will be closed for vacation next week!!
Tonight is the last chance to enjoy the Carmichael for a full week!
When we open back up you will see the same familiar faces and have the same menu to look at but we will be under new ownership!
We are very excited about this change! We r couldn’t have asked for a better situation! All the staff is staying and the menu and recipes will still be the same! Eventually a few menu changes will take place but those were already in the works!
The new ownership is deep rooted in the history of our town and we are so excited to be a part of this huge step! You will still see me floating around and most definitely see me supporting our staff!!! Thank you for five amazing years of fun, friendships and memories. This is a bittersweet time and I have spent the majority of the day crying and acting like I’m not!
Now go support my staff!!

We hope everyone has enjoyed their Memorial Day!
This week will be the last week to use your Carmichael Gift Certificates! Please get those used up!
They will only be valid through May 31st regardless of what the date is on the certificate itself.
We are open Tuesday-Friday 7am-9pm and on Saturday from 8am-9pm!
