Six years ago, Steven built a simple soap box outside Club Fais Do-Do with a vision: to create a place where anyone could step up, speak their mind, share their art, perform, or simply be heard.
On June 21st, that vision finally came to life.
With the help of Jack Jacob and the Word on the Street community, poets, musicians, storytellers, neighbors, and curious passersby transformed a street corner on West Adams into something truly special.
The debut of the Fais Do-Do Soap Box bubbled over with creativity, connection, laughter, music, and heart… And this is only the beginning!
