Latest Track: In My Disease
Lyrics:IN MY DISEASE

In this life I have lived and I've died, son
I've looked for, fell in, and lost love
And I've fought the good fight and I've won, son.. in my disease ...

Son, I worked hard for you and your mother
and I gave to you all that I had
You know I did the best that I could, son.. in in my disease ...

And I'll ask you to leave me alone, now
for the vision I search for is seen
'neath the bridge where the waters of sorrow flow.. in my disease ...

Now, someday, you'll look back and reflect, son
as I do on this day in time
with the blueprint of your life, created.. in your disease ...

So go forth until then and discover
the truth, only you can discern
and one morning, you'll wake, shake,'n shiver
you'll be in your disease
And you'll ask your son, leave me alone, please
for the vision you search for is seen
'neath the bridge where the waters of sorrow flow..In your disease ... ..In his disease ... ..In her disease .....In our disease .....In my disease .....In my disease ...

Lyrics:
The ripple’s on the water form haphazard designs,
If the wind’s an artist, can this composition be mine?
Two sides of the same land are connected by a bridge
A woman stands in the middle of it all, looking out for him.
We’re all passing by like ships in the night.

The beggars hands are dirty yet his open palm is clean.
There’s a smile on the politicians face:
I wonder what it means?
Your mother and your father once gave this life to you.
Now, are you still a cripple for what they did or did not do ??
We’re all passing by like ships in the night.

Now, Monday is a hard day for those of us who work.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday man, yes, everyday we learn.
That Friday, he is welcome & Saturday, she’s sweet.
I heard the Sunday sermon reach the wild and the meek
We’re all passing by like ships in the night

Now I don’t know why I met you
But I’ve come to understand,
Why you were born a woman,
For me to become a man.
Our paths cross each other
Now, we create our own

No matter where you go from here
You’ll never be alone
We’re all passing by like ships in the night.

“THE GREAT SACRIFICE"
words & music, Kevin Kelly

-The blood on the lamb drips gently in the earth
One mother's in a coffin, another mother's givin' birth
-A sister heals her brother who is stricken' with disease-
A lover serenades a lady: “Wont you love me pretty please?”
-The child who was dyin' met the freak who was dead -
They took turns climbin' in 'n out of each others head
-Take all your fears out and I'll turn them into hope,
Open up your closet doors, lemme burn all your dope!

CHORUS:

Hey, now, you lay down your body,
your soul and your life
For you I promise I will make the great sacrifice, the great sacrifice.
—————————————

2- The father teach his children, don't do this and don't do that
The seeker seeks forever to find exactly where he's at
-The poet shakes his cranium and leaves his skull out on the road
The mute stands on the podium,
I watch his heart as it explodes …
-The burning bush is drowning
The ocean's full of flames and smoke
The limbs and branches hang on
as a pig-tailed girl jumps rope
I gotta do the laundry, then I gotta make a call -You gotta make a motion if I am to recieve the ball ….
(CHORUS:)

3.
The mask on the shaman hides the terror underneath
The money in the preachers pants reveals the evil he doth preach
Look out for the savior- Don’t forget to pay the rent
The messenger is crippled - Can I borrow one red cent?
The toys, they all are broken yet the soldiers they march on
I shook a stick and I carved it-
Now, it's a magic wand
The farmer's in the city and the lawyer's on the farm -The chicken grips the ax so tight
Did the killer really mean to harm?

(CHORUS)

4.

Now, the planes are droppin' bombs
but for some reason they dont land-
(Now you ask me) why do we all need analysis just to love our fellow man?
The sweet voice of good women ring the words “Im innocent!”
The men they make the same claim
Why? Both of them are bent!!
All the wise men are re****ed and the re****ed, they are wise
A naked boy stands in front of me,
I cannot hear him cry
One soul’s at the crossroads, and one souls has crashed his car
One souls lost in a shoppin' mall, one soul can’t get out of the bar (CHORUS)

————————————————

5.

Today the sky is cloudy - Tommorrow, it will rain
The next day will be sunny - Do it matter to you anyway?
Up the stairs and out the door,
down the stairs he climbs
The wind, it blows ferociously-
Im going back in time ..
…. No one's in the temple
but someone's knockin’ at the door …
She looks vaguely famaliar...Is she a relative of yours??
I saw you once in Athens, I saw you once in Rome
I saw you twice in Peking, then I blinked and you came home (CHORUS)
