Spoon & Pork is now Closed 💔
We started this journey 9 years ago — just two friends chasing a dream out of a little food truck, then to Smorgasburg, then finally opening our first restaurant in Silver Lake, and later expanding to Sawtelle.
From day one, our mission was simple: to introduce Filipino food to people who had never experienced it before — to show how soulful, vibrant, and comforting it truly is. 🇵🇭
We had minimal funds, just passion, persistence, and the support of family and friends. If you only knew what we started with, you’d think we’re crazy 🤪— but hey, 6 years isn’t bad. We’re proud of what we built, proud of our team, and proud to have been part of the story of Filipino food in LA.
After nine amazing years, countless meals, and thousands of memories, Spoon & Pork is now closed. This isn’t goodbye forever — we’ll still be here through catering, kamayan-style meals, and soon, our bottled signature sauces.
Filipino food still has a long way to go in this world, and Filipino restaurants need your support. Go out, eat at them, tell your friends. Every thing helps amplify our voice that Filipino cuisine is not going anywhere ❤️
And while this chapter ends, a new one begins — we’re excited to introduce our next concept, Onda Taco, coming soon to Silver Lake! 🌮✨ Follow along for our soft opening:
