What started out as a feeble attempt to enter the Guinness Book of World Records as this planet’s tiniest sandwich shop turned into a 10 year odyssey offering vegan yumminess to the people of greater DTLA.

We survived every tribulation that can be thrown at a small business and we’d like to think we’re better and funnier for it. So with the utmost gratitude, respect and smiles, we exit stage right on a high note, full of memories and laughter of our time operating in the Fashion District.

Most special thanks to all of the team members that worked at Localita over the years and special love to Maria, Yaneli, Lesly and Jose for treating the business location as a second home with all the due warmth and care. None of it would have been possible without Greg, Vale, Heather, Byron, Mariel and of course, Arturo, along with countless other vendors, employees and patrons who went above and beyond for our little business that could.

Please continue to follow our antics and visit us in Hollywood’s Franklin Village at Locali Healthy Convenience or one of our licensed food hall locations.

Our last day of operation in DTLA will be this Sunday 12/18/22.

We love and appreciate all of you! Thank you in advance for continuing to support our mission at 5825 Franklin Avenue.
