A Taste of Koreatown The best eats of Koreatown! Saturday, 9/8/12. noon-5pm Taste all that makes Koreatown great! Thirsty? We have beverage sponsor ONE Coconut Water.

The Korean American Coalition (KAC) in partnership with Yelp, presents A Taste of Koreatown, a multicultural event showcasing the best restaurants in Koreatown! In previous years, this event was known as the Korean BBQ Cook-Off and enjoyed overwhelming successes. This year, in order to promote all the cultural richness of Koreatown, we are inviting all restaurants in the area to attend. We hope th

at this event will help integrate Koreatown in mainstream Los Angeles vernacular and highlight what makes Koreatown a foodie destination. A partial list of participants includes:
- Palsaik Samgyupsal (8 Colorful Flavors of Pork)
- BCD Tofu House
- El Cholo
- Seoul Sausage Company (as seen on The Great Food Truck Race)
- Papa Cristos
- Park's BBQ ..and many more! And for those 21 and over a Beer & Soju Garden! Featuring craft beers from Firestone Brewery and bek soju tastings from Kooksoondang. Plus there's more!
- Spicy Tofu Eating Challenge (Presented by BCD)
- Authentic Mexican Guacamole Demonstration (Presented by El Cholo)
- KAC's Robot Bibimpab: attempting to make the World's Largest Bibimpab!
- Choco Pie Eating Contest (Presented by Candy Geek)

Admission is only $2 which also gets you a raffle ticket for great prizes throughout the day! Plenty of street and lot parking but go green! We highly encourage carpool or use public transit! Public Transit:
From DTLA - Subway Red or Purple Line to Wilshire/Western. Walk three blocks (~1000ft) east on Wilshire until you hit Wilshire/Hobart
