We’re gathered around a real mesquite fire and grilling up carne asada and putting it on Sonora style flour tortillas. Now that we have 2 locations in I think a re-introduction might be in order! Sonoratown is owned and operated by Jen & Teodoro. We opened our first shop around 6.5 years ago in DTLA- in order to pay homage to the tiny town in Sonora Mexico where Teo was born, San Luis Río Colorado. Our brother in Law, Javier Campas came out here to help us get it off the ground. We don’t do anything new or fancy- we reproduced our taqueria in the image of our brother-in-law’s shop (now he has two locations too! One in San Luis MX and one in Sommerton AZ) That meant homemade flour tortillas, and good quality carne asada cooked over real mesquite carbon 🔥 come try our family recipes! We put a lot of our heart and soul into the food we make- and we really hope you enjoy our tacos Our Mid City location and our Downtown location will both be open today until 9pm. Alternatively- we can be found on or if you would like delivery. Thanks for your support! We hope to make the food a little better every time you come by for a visit 💘
