There is something about the ocean that invites us to slow down.
The gentle rhythm of the waves, the softness of the shoreline, the way water catches the light and turns something simple into something beautiful.
This cake was inspired by that quiet sense of peace—a reminder that beauty doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s found in soft colors, subtle details, and moments of stillness.
I loved bringing this little stretch of shoreline to life and am grateful to have been trusted to create it for a special birthday celebration today.
