Something a little different is coming to the shop this Sunday!

Urban Homesteadings will be popping up at Los Alamos Coffee & Tea from 9 AM–2 PM with homemade sourdough goodies.

Grab a coffee, grab a baked treat, say hi, and support another local small business.

Honestly, coffee and fresh sourdough is a pretty hard combination to beat. ☕🍞❤️

These little jars have a habit of disappearing before I can make more, so grab one while you can.

Today was a special one.

I had the opportunity to share one of my published poems from A Feast for Santa Barbara: Poets Celebrating Food & Drink as part of the poetry series at Clementine Carter Wines, and I was lucky enough to have Elsa by my side for the afternoon.

There’s something magical about gathering together to share stories, poetry, and creativity in a small town. Thank you to everyone who came out and to the fellow writers who shared their work.

Grateful for community, creativity, and moments like these.

Calling all collectors, ranchers, antique lovers, and barn-cleaners!

I’m working on creating a vintage western photo area around our stagecoach at Los Alamos Coffee & Tea and am looking for authentic props to help bring it to life.

I’m especially looking for:
• Lanterns
• Wooden crates
• Old quilts
• Rope or lassos
• Coat racks
• Metal milk cans
• Vintage suitcases
• Horseshoes
• Old western, ranch, or farm items
• Anything with rustic Old West charm

If you have something gathering dust in a garage, barn, shed, or attic that you’d be willing to sell, I’d love to take a look. Happy to pay a fair price.

A little sneak peek of something we’re working on…

One of my goals has always been to create experiences that make Los Alamos memorable. We’re slowly turning our stagecoach corner into a fun photo opportunity with vintage dress-up pieces and western-inspired props.

Not quite finished yet, but I couldn’t resist sharing.
