There’s so much history to explore right in our own backyard!

For more than 400 years, Ancestral Pueblo people lived and farmed in what is now Bandelier National Monument, building villages and carving homes into the volcanic cliffs of Frijoles Canyon. Their descendants maintain deep cultural connections to this landscape today. Bandelier became a national monument in 1916, preserving this remarkable history for generations to come.

A good fee free weekend to visit us this weekend. 😀

Happy 4th of July! 🦅🎉

National Parks preserve and protect many of our country's beloved historic sites, landscapes, monuments and cultural and natural resources. These places tell the stories of America, from past to present and provide spaces for all visitors to recreate safely.

To celebrate Independence Day, all three days of the holiday weekend, Friday-Sunday, July 3-5, are fee-free days! All entrance fees, not including camping, are waived at National Park Service sites across the country, including Bandelier. If you plan to visit a park this holiday weekend, we encourage you to come prepared for warm temperatures, busy parks, and tons of fun!

Happy 250th birthday America. What a monumental achievement. Wishing everyone a great holiday weekend. We will be open at Bandelier throughout the weekend with our minimum hours being 9 to 4:30. We will have tons of specials including a special habanero pepper and mango chutney burger as well as opera week. This weekend is a fee free weekend at Bandelier. In addition park is also doing special events so we hope to see you here. Happy 4th.

Happy fathers day to all the awesome dads and families. We will have a lot of specials today but one of them is our all time favorite: Saffron infused slow braised Moroccan BBQ lamb stew with turnips and other root vegetables.

It's always great to see wild turkeys on your way into work! We do accept customers of all species, but some do have to eat in the courtyard.

Blooms (and hummingbirds!) have arrived in our courtyards after that much needed rain! Enjoy a morning coffee, lunch, or sweet treat while relaxing in the adobe revival gardens. Open daily, 9:00AM to 4:30PM.
