I know the wait has been long and I have stopped giving dates because items out of our control came up multiple times, but we are making traction. We passed final health department last week, fire department inspection is scheduled for next week and all should be good there. We are in the process of hiring a GM and kitchen manager now and will be hiring the full staff shortly after that. The place looks amazing and will be worth the wait. We are in the process of working with the landlord to paint the exterior and we will be putting up new signage in the next few weeks. We are striving to be open for early in the football season. To all who are asking about whether we will be an exclusive Steeler bar, the answer is we will be open to all NFL teams, including the Steelers. That said, the demand has been so intense, we are going to move a lot of the memorabilia and make our bar in Garden Grove, The Glen Bar & Grill a Steelers bar for anyone that wants to just see Steelers games.

While the project has taken much longer than one would have ever anticipated, it is going to be well worth the wait. Final Health inspection is scheduled for late May. Targeting early June for our opening date. The new and improved Starting Gate is going to be spectacular!

Do to unforeseen requirements from the health department on the new and improved starting gate, our opening has been pushed back. We are targeting December, but will provide more updates as we get closer. I understand the frustration, but the wait will be well worth it. Here is a preview of our new digital wall for all your favorite sporting events.

The new and approved Starting Gate will be opening in October with new ownership/management team. We will be open 7 days a week with expanded entertainment, a fresh new look, and an awesome food menu! I know the wait has been long, but I promise it will be well worth it!

While everyone is waiting for the gate head out this Saturday March 1st to the Glen in Hawiian Gardens and dance the night away with The Kraze! And The return of DJ Scottie McNaughty keeping the funky beats going! Hope to see you all there!

Also for all you country line dance fans DJ Scottie will be back at the Glen in Hawiian Gardens on Sunday March 2nd from 2-6pm playing all your favorite couples and line dances!
