Occoquan Regional Park is open! After many days of snow and ice removal, the park, including The River View and Brickmakers Café, has reopened to the public.
Snow and ice removal efforts are ongoing, and some areas will remain closed until further notice. Please be mindful of our crew as they continue to work on clearing these areas. Areas that remain closed include:
• Marina area including boat ramp
• All walking paths and trails
• Boat/RV storage lots
• Turning Point Suffragist Memorial
• Picnic shelters and the Pavilion
A huge thank you to the park operations team here at Occoquan Regional Park for their continued efforts to clear snow and ice, and to get the park reopened! This “snowcrete” has resulted in one of the most difficult snow removal processes we’ve ever handled. We are excited to welcome everyone back to the park!
