A Heartfelt Goodbye from Gigi’s Eatery 💚

This is one of the hardest posts we’ve ever had to make…..

Effective at the end of business today, 7pm,
Gigi’s Eatery will be closing our doors.

We have poured so much of ourselves into this little restaurant. We showed up every day with the hope of giving our community a place where you could sit down, enjoy a home-cooked meal, see a friendly face, and maybe feel a little bit like you were sitting around Grandma’s table.

To those of you who supported us, checked on us, shared our posts, brought your families in, ordered lunch, told your friends about us, and continued choosing our little restaurant — thank you. Especially to those near and dear to us who have stood beside us through it all. Your support has meant more than we could ever put into words.

Unfortunately, love and hard work alone don’t always keep the bills paid.

Times are tough for so many people right now, and we understand that because we have felt it tremendously ourselves. The simple truth is that we can no longer afford to keep the doors open. We are tired. We have stretched things as far as we possibly can, and there just isn’t enough coming in to cover what is going out.

There is no easy way to say that. There is no pretty way to dress it up. Sometimes you can give something everything you have and still have to know when it’s time to let go.

We are incredibly proud of what Gigi’s Eatery was. We’re proud of every homemade meal that left our kitchen, every full belly, every conversation across the counter, every laugh, every familiar face, and every person who walked through our doors and allowed us to serve them.

Thank you for letting us cook for you. Thank you for letting us know your families. Thank you for the memories, the conversations, the laughter, and the love. We will carry the good parts of Gigi’s with us wherever life takes us next.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for sitting at our table. 💚

A Little Update from Gigi’s Eatery 💚

We believe in always being transparent with our customers, so we wanted to give everyone a heads-up for tomorrow, Tuesday, August 25th.

Due to N***y being under the weather and Gigi having a personal matter that needs her attention first thing in the morning, Gigi’s Eatery will be opening at 11:00 AM tomorrow instead of our usual time.

Once those doors open, though, we’ll be ready to feed you! We’ll still be serving our FULL MENU, along with Tuesday’s special:

served up fresh and homemade, just like always!

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support more than you know. Sometimes life happens, and we’re incredibly thankful to have customers who understand that behind this little restaurant is a family doing our very best.

There’s just something special about a meal that feels like Grandma made it. At Gigi’s Eatery, that’s the feeling we want you to have when you walk through our doors—the smell of something good cooking, a plate piled high, and the kind of food that reminds you of sitting around Grandma’s kitchen table. No fancy fuss. Just nostalgic, wholesome, homemade food that fills your belly and feeds your soul.

This week we’ve got some good ones waiting for you—BLTs, Indian Tacos, Italian Wraps with Fried Okra, BBQ Chicken with Cheesy Tater Tot Casserole & Side Salad… and, of course, plenty of homemade sweets to finish it off. 😋
