Reminder that it’s our very last night tonight!!

Open from 4-9pm.

It’s been a great ride and we’ve loved serving our community - our partner non profits - our incredible guests and of course The American Legion Post 586!

I’d like to give an extra special shout out to my staff - who have run smoother than they ever have. They have maintained the same quality of food that they have been responsible for since the very beginning. ESPECIALLY Vanessa our kitchen manager - who has been the one prepping almost all of the food for the last 18+ months…. And Amy/Kuru who have worked more hours on the line putting out amazing food than anyone else. They are all amazing people with incredible work ethics.

Many of our staff has already been placed at other establishments in Lonsdale and NP - we do still have a few talented individuals still looking for work opportunities. If you are hiring - reach out to me (Chris) at [email protected].

While having a decision forced on you is never ideal - especially with how many people are being affected by one persons choices - it became clear that closing was in the best interest for my wife, kids, and my other full time job.

We are starting to run out of a few items (sweet potato, chicken fajita burgers, ribs, fried ice cream and ramen) but we still over forty different menu items available!

This weekend Friday and Saturday (closed Sunday for Christmas eve) will likely be the last opportunity for our full menu. Starting on 12/26 we will be running a slightly shorter menu to focus on minimizing food waste.

While we are targeting a 12/30 shut down - it's possible that it happens sooner (again - based on food supplies etc). Our FB page will always be the best place for the most up to date information.

If you have a gift card - PLEASE use it. If you yourself cannot use it - please email [email protected] and we can gift it to one of our food insecurity partners.

It’s with broken hearts that we are announcing the closure of Taco Bien. Our plan currently is to close permanently on 12/30 (we will also be closed 12/24 and 12/25).

It’s been an incredible ride - and I’ve been blessed to be a part of it but it’s time for me to give up the restaurant life / closing 5-6 nights a week and being gone from my amazing wife and 2 small kids.

I want to thank my team for never backing away from a challenge - and continually and consistently put out some of the best food in the state.

I want to thank all our amazing customers - many of whom dine with us weekly! Your support has meant everything.

We have been able to provide over 2,000 free meals to our local vets / active military / first responders…. We have provided over 700 meals to our local teachers and educators…. We’ve supported dozens of local families with food insecurities…. We’ve saved literal tons and tons of food from going into the landfill. These are all things we are incredibly proud of.

We are currently unsure as to ‘what’s next?!’ but we are working diligently with our core staff and the legion to determine the next steps.

We will be offering various promotions etc as we wind down to help reduce our inventory and remain a no food waste company up to the very end. This will be the best place to watch for those.

A portion of our proceeds these remaining weeks will go to local Alcoholics Anonymous as well as substance abuse organizations - as we’ve all know how vital these programs are.

If you or anyone you know is hiring hard working restaurant staff - please reach out to me directly. While all of our staff is receiving severance pay - it only goes so far.
