WOW... what a weekend! ❤️🤍💙
First, we want to say THANK YOU to every single person who stopped by Common Grounds 218 over the 4th of July weekend. We were absolutely blown away by your support! The lines were long, your patience was amazing, and because of all of you, we sold through much more inventory than we ever expected.
Because of that, we're temporarily out of quite a few flavors and products while we wait for today's delivery to arrive.
We sincerely apologize if your favorite drink or smoothie isn't available this morning. We know it's disappointing, and we appreciate your understanding more than you know.
Our shipment is expected to arrive today, and we'll be working as quickly as we can to get everything restocked.
Thank you again for making this one of our busiest holiday weekends ever. We truly have the best customers, and we're so grateful for each and every one of you. ❤️☕️

As I finally sat down today, I found myself thinking about this amazing little coffee shop and the people who make it possible.

This weekend wasn't easy.

For three days straight, we had a line out the door for nearly six hours. We were running as fast as we could, making drinks, preparing food, cleaning, restocking, and doing everything we could to keep up. We were exhausted... but we never stopped.

What most people don't see is who's behind the counter.

Common Grounds 218 isn't run by a big staff. It's our family.

My husband and I are here seven days a week. Our son, who just turned 18, worked six days this week without hesitation. Adrianna recently joined our team, and she has blown us away with how quickly she's learned and how hard she's worked. And my incredible 75 year-old mom came in three days this week to keep breakfast and lunch sandwiches going.

While everyone else was watching the parade, enjoying the fireworks, and celebrating with family and friends, this crew chose to spend their holiday serving yours.

I couldn't be prouder of them.

Their work ethic, kindness, and willingness to jump in wherever they're needed remind me every day how blessed I am to call them family.

And to every single customer who waited in line—thank you.

Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your smiles. Thank you for understanding that we're doing our very best. Most of all, thank you for choosing to support a small, family-owned coffee shop.

You aren't just buying coffee. You're helping a family build a dream together.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this our busiest Fourth of July we've ever had. We are beyond grateful for this incredible community, and we can't wait to keep serving you.
