After much thought and many difficult conversations, we have made the heartbreaking decision to permanently close our business.
This was not an easy choice. Over time, a combination of challenges has made it increasingly difficult for us to continue operating in a sustainable way. Rising minimum wage requirements, ongoing staffing shortages, and the continued increase in food costs have created circumstances where keeping our prices fair for our rural community is no longer realistic.
We have always believed in serving quality food at a price that feels right for our customers, and it’s been incredibly hard to face the reality that this is no longer possible.
At the same time, this decision comes with a very personal side. Our young family needs us, and it has become clear that we need to step back and focus our time and energy where it matters most right now. As we all know operating a business requires your full attention and commitment, and after the loss of our baby last July, spending time with our young family feels so much more important to us in this stage of our lives.
We are beyond grateful for the support, kindness, and loyalty you have shown us over the years. We are especially grateful to all of our staff members over the past years for creating such a great environment. This community has meant everything to us, and we will carry those memories with us always.
