Hi all,
Well this will be the follow up we promised so many to deliver! Our final day will be January 13, 2013, and so we would like to invite you to stop in for a bite to eat on us. There will be a free buffet running from 2pm - 7pm on that Sunday and cash bar for any drinks ordered. Along with that, there will also be a DJ on premise to help enlighten the mood, as we do not want to go out with gloom but rather in great fun. So please come by and party with us! Obviously space may be a problem so if you come we ask that you be a good sport and make room for others. Thank you so very much.

Don't worry people, we are not dead yet! Although the road seems tough for us at the moment, it doesn't mean its the end of that road because there is still a path to take...In the meantime, please support the Portuguese Restaurants that still remain in this area as they are equally as good in their own ways. Dear Beloved Patrons,

It is with great sadness that we, the Almeida Family and Staff of Pearl of Lisbon, come to inform you of our closing. We have fought hard to keep our doors open for the past year, but have failed to do so. Although the past two years we have had some success and have seen the future with prosperous results, that doesn’t erase the negative impact we had when the recession hit us all. Back in 2008-2011 we had tremendous difficulty in keeping the business going, and even though we did, we did so with consequences. Unfortunately, the reason for closing is mandatory and not something we have just decided on.

All of us here at Pearl of Lisbon, Ownership and Staff, want to thank each and everyone of you from the bottom of our hearts for all the past and present support. With our closing comes a sense of failure, but we also know that we part with our heads held high in knowing that we have had some success; success that would not have otherwise been achieved without you all, and for that we THANK YOU and LOVE YOU dearly! For some of you reading this letter it comes at a complete shock and perhaps for some not so much, but we do want to take this opportunity to say a special THANK YOU to so many of you that have not only been our patrons but have also become part of us and who we are in the community. You know who you are!!!!

With that said, don’t think that this is the last of us! The restaurant business is what we know and what runs in our blood. So we’ll be back! But before we go don’t forget to come in and say goodbye with one last drink or meal. :-)
