Yesterday morning, after wrapping up another incredible Long Beach BBQ Festival two weeks ago, we had the honor of continuing one of the traditions that means the most to us…serving lunch at the Long Beach Rescue Mission.
Every year, we take some of the energy, support, and generosity from the festival and bring it directly back into the community. This year was especially meaningful, and we’re so grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.
A huge thank you to for allowing us to serve, to our incredible volunteers and partners, and to for coming out and helping share the story.
For us, this is personal.
There was a time in our lives when we experienced homelessness ourselves. We know what it feels like to struggle, to wonder what’s next, and to need a helping hand. That’s why opportunities like this are so important to us. Being able to serve a hot meal isn’t just about food…it’s about dignity, compassion, and reminding people that they matter.
We’re thankful for everyone who stood alongside us yesterday and helped us give back to a community that has given so much to us.
