The Taking of Tea is a leisurely event that enhances serenity, tranquility, and social conversation. Complete your Tea Taking experience by choosing from our wide collection of antique bone china tea cups and beautiful vintage hats. One often feels compelled to observe the historical traditions of tea. Perhaps the country best known for the ceremony of tea is Great Britain. However, different styl
es of tea are enjoyed in France, Germany, Japan, and China. The style of Tea service at the Vintage Tea Leaf is inspired by the Victorian Era. The influence by our founder, Beverly Terfloth's upbringing, extensive travels in Europe, eight years’ residency in Canada, and her English, Irish, and German heritage, adds an eclectic flair! The Perfect Pot of Tea Starts with the Water The best quality water is absent of chlorine and sulphur. Never use distilled water, which is absent of mineral content, and results in a flat taste. Vintage Tea Leaf brews all tea with Spectrapure filtered water, which maintains the correct mineral content, known as TDS (Total Dissolvable Liquids). The ideal TDS is between 10 and 30 parts per million. Posting Policy: While we’re grateful for your visit, we ask that if you leave a post that it’s consistent with our guidelines.
