Santa Fe Importers was established in 1947 when Vincent Passanisi opened the doors of this Italian deli and market at 1401 Santa Fe Avenue in Long Beach, California. With recipes from his native Sicily and imported Italian foods, Vincent soon had a steady clientele. Impressed with the quality and flavor of the Italian meats at Santa Fe Importers, local restaurant owners began persuading him to mak

e the Italian sausage for their businesses. With the next generation running the company and growing demand for quality Italian meats, our Marisa Brand label grew to include meatballs, cotto salami, mortadella, dry salami, pepperoni, grated romano and parmesan cheese.
