Four years ago this month, we opened our doors as a coffee shop and nonprofit with a mission to provide job skills training and to be a welcoming space for the community.
For a while now, our communities have been hurting and dealing with uncertainty, fear, and grief. As we navigate through this while also running our programs, we’ve been spending time reflecting on one of our core values from the start - building community.
We love existing in this neighborhood. We will always make room for organizations hosting important conversations, sharing resources, organizing support, and working toward change. Change happens when people come together and consistently take action.
For the month of February, here’s a few things we’re doing:
Fridays: 100% of proceeds from seasonal drinks purchased on Fridays will be donated to whose mission directly serves immigrant communities. Their work is very much needed right now. Their donation page is linked in our bio.
Nonprofits: Our two meeting rooms are open to our fellow nonprofits needing space, for free. Email us at [email protected] to reserve.
Long Beach Residents: Enjoy 20% off orders Tuesday–Thursday during the weeks of 2/9 and 2/16.
Mondays: BOGO free on any drink. Come with a friend, share a moment.
We look forward to continuing to support our community and being part of what makes the Wrigley/Long Beach community strong, this year and always.
