But if there's one thing we know, it's that we truly love what we do. ❤

Our team is back in the kitchen and office, refreshed and ready to jump back into our incredible season of weddings and events.

☀️ A Little Summer Pause ☀️

One of the things we value most as a family-owned business is taking care of the people who take such great care of our clients.

After another busy Spring wedding season, our team will be taking our annual summer break June 29 – July 5 to rest, recharge, and enjoy some well-deserved time with family and friends.

During this time, our office will be closed, and email and phone responses will be delayed.

We'll be back in the office on Monday, July 6, refreshed and excited for everything the rest of the season has in store.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support, understanding, and for allowing us to be part of so many incredible celebrations.

Today's Team Spotlight is on the person who keeps all the moving pieces... moving — our General Manager, Jessi Dunham! ✨

If you've worked with Hudson's Edge over the past few years, chances are you've crossed paths with Jessi. From coordinating weddings and managing events to helping couples, scheduling staff, solving last-minute challenges, and keeping countless details organized behind the scenes, she's the one making sure everything comes together seamlessly.

One thing about Jessi? She's never afraid to jump in wherever she's needed. Over the years she's worn just about every hat on our team, and that willingness to help is one of the many reasons she's such an incredible leader.

Outside of Hudson's Edge, Jessi shares her love of music by teaching piano, directing high school musicals, and leading a kids' choir. When she's not working, she's always up for breakfast food, exploring state and national parks, or visiting a great zoo or aquarium. 🥞🎭🌿

June Meet & Greet Tasting at Swan Lake Event Center ✨

This month featured a beautiful spring-inspired setup filled with lush greenery, rosy pinks, and plenty of menu favorites for guests to enjoy while exploring ideas for their wedding day.

Guests sampled new menu additions like our:
Cold Spinach & Artichoke Dip with Pumpernickel Bread and Asian Chicken Wonton Tacos
Along with fan favorites including Mini Chicken & Waffle Skewers, Chicken Marsala, Mushroom Stuffed Ravioli, Mac-N-Cheese, Steamed Green Beans and more.

And a dessert lineup that did not disappoint — new Lemon Pie Bars joined returning favorites like our Buckeye Cream Puff, Devil’s Food Overload Cupcake, Mini Buckeye Shooters, and Mini Strawberry Supreme Shooters. 🍋🧁

It was a packed house, and we loved meeting so many wonderful couples, answering questions, and talking all things wedding food, service, and planning.

A huge thank you to our host venue, Swan Lake Event Center along with Prime Time Party & Event Rental and Botanica Flowers Wedding & Events Columbus for helping bring the evening together with our curated tablescape design and amazing florals.

It's a show stopper. It's a crowd pleaser. And it comes with a lot of questions. 😉

Our Artisan Charcuterie Board is one of our most requested appetizers, so we thought we'd answer a few of the questions we hear all the time:

✨ What does it include?

A curated selection of aged cheddar, Asiago, and three-herb Mediterranean cheese paired with sliced salami and prosciutto. We finish it with fresh grapes, seasonal berries, fig jam, house-baked crostini, and homemade candied pecans for the perfect balance of savory and sweet.

✨ What does it look like?

Swipe through! Every display is arranged by hand and styled for your event, creating an appetizer station that's just as beautiful as it is delicious.

✨ How much does it feed?

Our charcuterie boards are priced per person, ensuring guests have enough to enjoy a little bit of everything and create their own mini charcuterie plate. If you're offering additional appetizers, we can often adjust quantities to complement the rest of your menu and help the display stretch even further.

The best part? No two boards are exactly alike, but they're always one of the first places guests gather during cocktail hour 🧀🍇

Beautiful summer sunshine (barely escaping the rain!) but still, a stunning wedding from start to finish.

Fav feature: the couple did a “cake parade” where bridal party members delivered individual cakes to each guest’s table. Different flavors and all shareable… so fun!! 🍰
