Across the United States, coffee shops are experiencing noticeable age gaps among their employees, and here at Steamworks, we are no exception.
When our younger, tech-savvy baristas work alongside more experienced staff, everyone learns from one another. At 9:00 a.m., Eliana might be teaching Kacy how to make a TikTok, and by 2:00 p.m., Kacy is asking Eliana if she owns a cassette player because she really wants to make her a mixtape.
This diverse team brings balance to the workplace (and the daily playlist), boosts productivity, and helps us better understand and serve our diverse customer base.
At the end of the day we’re all working toward the same goal. We want to make great drinks and take care of our customers.✌️
