After a 5-year hiatus, our National Donut Day celebration is finally back 🍩 Donut Miss This Donut Day 🍩 — and honestly, it’s just as ridiculous as it sounds.

Join us Friday, June 5 starting at 12pm for a full day of beer + donut pairings (from The Donut Shop!), pastry stouts, and espresso martinis that feel dangerously appropriate before the weekend officially starts.

Eight years is a long time.

Long enough to become part of the furniture around here (in the best way possible). Long enough that for a lot of you, Erin /is/ The Open Bottle.

For nearly eight years, Erin has been behind the bar, behind the scenes, and somehow always one step ahead of whatever chaos the day decided to throw at us. She’s poured thousands of beers, unpacked countless deliveries, cleaned up more exploding cans than any one person should ever have to (aforementioned chaos), made recommendations that never missed, hidden Jerry and George on more unsuspecting staff than anyone else, and probably knows your usual before you even say it.

She’s also the kind of person who quietly makes a place better just by being in it.

Today is Erin’s last day at The Open Bottle. And while we’re excited for what’s next for her, this one’s a tough goodbye.

If Erin ever served you a beer, gave you a recommendation, helped you find something special, or made your visit better in any way, drop your favorite Erin memory in the comments ❤️ We’d love for her to see just how many people she’s impacted over the years.
