We are again serving shakes and malts! We want to thank the local Taylor Freeze service crew for getting out here so fast to get us back up.

Well, we’ve had our first casualty from the recent surge in sales. Our shake machine has broken down, so as of now we cannot sell shakes and malts. The company that does the repairs on that piece of equipment has been called. We were told that they were backed up for three or four days, but since we were a located near their shop that they would try to fit us in if there was an opening. We will let you know as soon as the shake machine has been fixed.

We will now be closed both Thursday and Sunday.
On Saturdays we will be closing at 4pm.

We are extremely appreciative of the outpouring of support that all of you have shown us during this past week. We want to thank all of you who have made a visit to us during this time. Anyone who has been in during this last week has seen how all aspects of the business have been overwhelmed. We are sure that these changes will be an inconvenience to some of you and we apologize for that. Our goal is to try to ensure that we can remain open for as long as possible. Thank you again for all of your support.

This week’s winner in our weekly drawing for a $20 credit is Ylona Hartford. Congratulations Ylona, you have had $20 added to your Daly Diner credit.

There were 19 names entered this week into the drawing, which was held among all of the Daly Diners who came in to eat yesterday. We would like to thank all of you who entered our contest.

Effective this week, we are temporarily putting both our Monday drawings and our Ten%Tuesdays on hold. If business settles down to a manageable pace, we will begin both promotions again.

We are going to be closed tomorrow, Saturday.

The staff needs a day of rest. Unfortunately, we have been much too busy since our announcement that we will be closing later in the year. While we appreciate all of the support that you have given us since the announcement. We have a limited staff and they have been much overworked. The last thing that we want is to have to close earlier than we want to because of employees leaving because they were overly stressed.

We will be open again on Monday, April 27th.

We truly appreciate all of the support that we have received over the past two days. Please remember that we are not closing for several months. Our staff has been overwhelmed during these two days. We have done three times the normal business, and it is taking a toll on the whole staff.

Everyone is welcome to come in whenever they would like to, but there is no need to rush in. We are not closing this week. We will give everybody plenty of warning when the time comes.

I want to start by saying how humbling the response to our announcement has been. Our great staff has been overwhelmed this past 24 hours, and we apologize for any delays in service. They are doing a great job under these circumstances, and I greatly appreciate them.

It is with great sadness that we are announcing that Daly will be closing. We plan to remain open through the summer.

We have been fortunate to serve the community for over 67 years. We appreciate all that you have done for us throughout these decades. We hope that you will continue to support both Daly and its longtime staff. We have been blessed to have such a dedicated, honest and hard-working crew. We hope that they can remain with us through these final months.

We will keep you updated as we go through this process.
