Hello my friends and new followers!

I want to take this moment to open up, thing that i don’t do often, can i begin with my pic, this is me, Chef Rafa, my wife nancy told me i look mean in this pic, i told her you know this is my look always, since now, i decided to be myself, no more fake smiles, this is me, full of scars physical and internal, some people could agree with nancy, i see a focused person, that takes everything he does seriously, with a difficult and interesting past, my closest friends always tell me i should write a book with my story. At the same time, i see a noble man, that loves family, friends, that helps without expecting nothing back, loyal and that put his life to protect his love ones.

From Bayamon, Puerto Rico. That small island made me, i learned to love food, capital of the international cuisine in the Caribbean.
It’s been 19 since i move to cali, but i go every summer to my island and i keep in touch with my roots and what’s new in our culinary world, then i come here and cook for you guys, any dish that i make, i always do a fusion of my roots, even if you dont see it on the plate is there. That’s why my cooking and flavors are unique, not similar to any other cook.

This is the real me, the one who cooks with only one arm cuz a stroke, the one who limp, but keep coming forward, showing how is done, i am your Chef, and i’m coming all the way up for what’s mine, with 24lbs less, stronger and not mean but focus.
Let me show you how is done!
Opened to book your party, me Chef Rafa and Nancy, the dream Team…
