Iāve officially been a photographer long enough to shoot someoneās WEDDING⦠and then come back for their ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY. š„¹šø
And honestly, that feels pretty freaking cool.
Iām a little (okay, a lot) late to posting this because apparently keeping up with social media is not one of my spiritual gifts these days š BUT this one deserved a spot on the feed.
Over a year ago, Brylee reached out to me about photographing her wedding, and of course I happily said YES. At the time, I had no idea that booking her wedding would also mean gaining a hairstylist, a friend, and basically an entire salon family along the way.
If you donāt know Brylee, sheās now my hair stylist and someone I genuinely consider a friend. And somehow, everyone at The Hair Lounge has slowly become part of my little salon family too. š„¹ I even get the privilege of photographing their nail techās wedding coming up soon, which is just wild to me.
Because when I think back to that random Tuesday afternoon when I bought a camera from a family friend, I never couldāve imagined it would lead me here.
I didnāt just pick up a camera.
I found a whole world of people, stories, friendships, opportunities, and clients who somehow turn into family.
And of course, I canāt make this post without mentioning Ty. š Heās been such a great part of their story and was just as wonderful to work with throughout their wedding day. Brylee definitely made a good choice there, so Iāll give her that one.
Hereās to one year of marriage, a million more memories, and being lucky enough to document a tiny piece of it all. š¤
Happy one year, Brylee & Ty. š„āØ
