Today’s special is our Smoky Barbecue Chicken Sandwich.

Grilled chicken thighs slathered in barbecue sauce and topped with pepper jack cheese, mashed avocado, thinly sliced red onion and cilantro on our burger bun. Comes with your choice of side.

The soup is Lemon Coconut Chicken.

Wednesday brought options. Neither one is particularly interested in being the sensible option.

The Cheesy Smashburger stacks two beef patties with Cheddar and Swiss, grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and 1000 Island on a Parmesan-crusted burger bun.

Then there’s this week’s Grilled Cheese: Chimichurri Chicken. Roasted chicken breast, chimichurri, Muenster and Gruyere packed into grilled sourdough.

And today’s soup is Green Chile Pork.

Tuesday’s assignment: tacos. 🌮

Today we’ve got Chorizo Street Tacos — grilled chorizo topped with sour cream, street salsa, diced onions, cilantro and shredded cheese on our housemade corn tortillas, with Mexican rice and refried beans on the side.

East Bay people… this one might bring back some memories.

Tomorrow we’re bringing back our Ode to Banchero’s Soup — our tribute to the legendary Hayward restaurant that generations of Bay Area families grew up with.

Thursday’s Pint Night pairing is taking a little Field Trip. 🍺

This week we’re pouring Field Trip Hazy IPA, a ridiculously limited collaboration from Karl Strauss + Fieldwork Brewing. This 6.7% hazy brings big tropical fruit, ripe berry and bright citrus notes with a little dank hop character and a soft, smooth finish.

So naturally, we gave it something worthy to ride shotgun.

Thai Chicken Sliders — spicy marinated Thai chicken breast topped with cool sliced cucumber and coconut slaw on slider buns.

The tropical, citrusy hops play right into the Thai spices and coconut, while that cool cucumber and creamy slaw balance the heat. Take a bite, take a sip, repeat as necessary.

Soup of the Day: Chorizo Lentil
