Stevie J’s will be closed Saturday September 19th!!

We will be giving back to an incredible organization we hold near and dear to our hearts, Make A Wish Maine, at the Trailblaze Challenge on Saturday.

Our daughter is a Wish Kid. She was granted a wish in 2024. We got to see first hand, the power of a wish, for a medically complex child. Giving back to this organization means so much to us, and to many other Wish Families.

Please consider donating to our friend, and Wish Dad, Christopher Sprague’s fundraising efforts (link in the comments). The goal for this event is $400,000 and collectively everyone is only $25,000 from reaching that goal.

Stevie J’s will be CLOSED Saturday September 19, 2026

We will miss seeing you all, but we volunteer at an event we hold near and dear to our hearts, every September.

Our daughter Mya, is a Wish Kid.

In 2024, she was granted a Wish through Make A Wish, Maine. It was an experience of a lifetime, and we are so grateful for all that Make A Wish Maine does for kids and families in our state. Ever since, we have been volunteering at an event held every September, called the Make A Wish Trailblaze Challenge. Those participating, raise money and hike 25+ miles from Big Eddy to the Sugarloaf Outdoor Center. We have met so many other Wish Kids, and Wish Families through this event. Each family coming to this event with a different “why”, but collectively striving for the same goal. Raising money, so that kids enduring extensive medical challenges/illnesses can have a break, have some joy, be a kid, enjoy experiences beyond the ever so familiar hospital walls.

Christopher, a Wish Dad, has made the hike the past few years. He’s such an inspiration!! Hats off to him for the miles he has put in to raise money for these kids and their families. We are sharing his fundraising link in case anyone would like to contribute to help make Wishes come true in our state.
