Sissy’s Pound Cakes
Sissy’s Pound Cakes originated with my love of cooking. I grew up spending time with my mom in the kitchen cooking & baking. I have always spent a lot of time going to restaurants only to go home and replicate the dishes. Baking delicious treats for friends and family has always been a fun pastime for me. My sour cream pound cake recipe has been handed down through my moms family for generations. It has a few secret ingredients and flavors that always has people guessing. I always say it’s flavored with extra love!
Currently I offer a full size 10 inch sour cream pound cake and the mini version 6 inch sour cream pound cake, a full size 10 inch fresh lemon pound cake with glaze and the mini version 6 inch lemon pound cake. I also offer a 10 inch fresh key lime pound cake with glaze and the mini 6 inch key lime pound cake. My specialty pound cake is a fresh blueberry sour cream pound cake, made with berries grown on our family’s blueberry farm. This cake is offered in both the 10 inch & 6 inch cake.
