✨STAFF SPOTLIGHT: ALLISON! ✨

Allison joined us this summer as one of our bakers, and wow… she is amazing.

She brings a deep understanding of what it takes to keep a bakery running every single day. Baking is especially close to her heart because she has celiac disease herself, so creating safe, delicious food for our guests is something she truly cares about.

Fun fact: she’s one of four members of our team who came to us with a bakery background from Colorado!

It’s hard to put into words how much it means to have a baking team that we can count on— one that’s helping take Dempsey to the next level. Allison is such a key part of that. She works incredibly hard, takes pride in what she does, and brings a lot of joy to us!

When asked what she likes about Dempsey, she said: “I think it’s really cute when people ask me what I do for a living and I can say baking. I like that I make gluten-free food that I CAN eat.” ❤️

Her favorite sweet treat? Our pumpkin bread!

Good morning, Little Rock! ☀️❤️

Starting August 3rd, you can find us a little earlier each morning! Dempsey Bakery will be OPEN AT 7:30 AM, Monday-Saturday. That means more time for coffee, breakfast, cookies, and all your Dempsey favorites. We’ll see you bright and early!

✨ STAFF SPOTLIGHT: LANIS ✨

Lanis joined us this summer as one of our bakers, and we are SO GLAD he did. He brought a ton of experience with him and has already made a huge difference in our production speed. He asks thoughtful questions, shows up early, and works hard to get the job done every day. Basically, he’s become someone we can really count on in the kitchen— and that means a lot around here.

Lanis says he loves working at Dempsey because it’s a wonderful environment and because he gets to expand his knowledge of allergen-friendly baking while continuing to build his skills. And eventually? He has his sights on opening his own food truck. We love getting to be a small part of that journey. ❤️

His Dempsey favorite: The EFDF Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Tart— and honestly, excellent choice.
