October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month, and at Howdy by 29, we’re celebrating what happens when people are given the opportunity to work, contribute, grow, and be part of something bigger.
Howdy Homemade Ice Cream was created with a purpose beyond serving great ice cream. We’re creating meaningful and purposeful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities—because everyone deserves the chance to discover their strengths, build confidence, develop skills, and take pride in the work they do.
From greeting customers and scooping their favorite flavors to preparing orders, keeping the shop running, and being part of our community events, every role matters. And every person brings something special to the table.
This month, we’re celebrating our Heroes—the incredible people who make Howdy by 29 what it is—and the customers, families, employers, and community members who believe in the power of inclusive employment.
