On Monday, August 31st the PorterHouse Little Canada lost a wonderful family member when Jake Jirasek passed away. We were privileged to have had Jake do two tours with us as our Chef/ Kitchen Manager.

Jake had a huge role in establishing our culture at the PorterHouse Little Canada. Jake was always positive, always in a good mood, and always willing to go above and beyond to make any guest feel special. Jake’s favorite part of his day was to come out of the kitchen and talk to our guests. Any time a guest wants to order something off the menu we always think of Jake making that happen without hesitation.

Jake may no longer be at the PorterHouse in body, but his spirit lives on in all of us who knew him and we will continue to try to share that spirit with all of our guests.
