La Piazza of Lititz

Today marks 5 months that Giusep has been gone from our lives. I finally sat down today to read the many many cards that we have received. The kind words you all have said, the thoughtful gestures & gifts and knowing that you are thinking of us is just so heartwarming and comforting. We miss Giusep more than we can express and our old lives. We miss running our business with our amazing staff and loyal customers & friends. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for thinking of our family and praying for us.❤️

To all of our awesome customers, friends and family. I wanted to let you know that we made the very hard decision to close La Piazza permanently. Giusep is La P and always will be. He worked so hard over the years building the business, being a part of the community and made many friends along the way. We as a family, just can’t fathom running La Piazza without him. It just wouldn’t feel right without him by our side and would be emotionally too hard for us. It’s still next to impossible for us to come to terms with the fact that we will never see his smile again or hear his often corny and inappropriate jokes. I would like to thank everyone for the beautiful gestures, many cards, messages and prayers you have sent to all of us. It really means a lot. Thank you for the many years of support and kindness❤️

Thank you all for your kind words of love and support for my La Piazza family and my personal family. This is a tragedy that I don’t have the words to describe the hurt and loss we feel. Our lives are forever changed. Please be patient with us as we figure things out. We will remain closed and I will update you all when I have information for the viewing. I know Giusep was liked and cared for by many of our customers and staff and some would like to say a final farewell and pay their respects.
