Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! 💚🍦

Today, we wanted to give a special shoutout to one of our favorites—my dad.

Many of you knew him long before Greco's ever existed. Some know him as "the cell phone guy." Others have probably seen him fixing a leak, repairing a door, helping a customer, or driving one of our ice cream trucks around town. If you've stopped by the shop, chances are you've had a conversation with him at some point.

For more than 20 years, he's been proud to call this community home, and one of the things he enjoys most is connecting with the people who make Lancaster County such a special place to live.

Greco's wouldn't be where it is today without the support, guidance, and countless hours he's put in behind the scenes over the years. Like so many dads, he's always been the guy you can count on when something needs fixed, when there's work to be done, or when someone needs a helping hand.

So today we're celebrating him, and all the fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, and father figures who show up every day for their families and communities.

Today we celebrate Juneteenth — a day that reminds us of the importance of freedom, unity, and community.

At Greco's, we've always believed that ice cream brings people together. Every day, families, friends, neighbors, teammates, and visitors from all backgrounds gather around our counters, picnic tables, and ice cream trucks to share a simple moment of happiness.

Those moments of connection are what make our community so special.

The weather is beautiful, the community is coming together, and we couldn't be more excited for one of our favorite events of the year!

We'll have our famous **Taste of Lititz Ice Cream** available all evening! This hometown favorite features a vanilla ice cream base loaded with **Wilbur Chocolate chips, Sturgis pretzels, Reese's peanut butter, and a Reese's hot fudge swirl throughout.** It's Lancaster County in a scoop!

Too cool you off we will also have delicious mango Italian ice (among other flavors)

Our brand-new Greco's magnets will make their debut this Friday at Taste of Lititz from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM. These magnets feature one of our favorite local-inspired designs and are the perfect way to show off your love for Greco's and Lancaster County.

As a 2015 Warwick graduate, returning each year to present the $1,500 Dawood Scholarship is one of the most meaningful things I get to do.

Warwick helped shape who I am. My mom spent over a decade teaching special education in this district, I grew up alongside many of the people who call this community home, and so much of what I've been able to accomplish started right here.

When we created the Dawood Scholarship, the goal wasn't to recognize the student with the highest GPA or the most athletic accomplishments. We wanted to recognize something that often goes unnoticed: character.

The person who holds the door. The person who includes others. The person who volunteers without expecting recognition. The person who makes their community a little better simply by being part of it.

This year's $1,500 Dawood Scholarship recipient, Cora, embodies what this scholarship was created to celebrate.

After the ceremony, we had the opportunity to meet her family, and it became clear where her kindness, respect, and values come from. She comes from an incredible family, and they should be tremendously proud of the young woman they have raised.

Communities are built by people like Cora. Not because they seek attention, but because they consistently choose to do the right thing, treat others with respect, and make those around them better.

As business owners, community members, and Warwick alumni, we often hear conversations about what the next generation is lacking. Moments like tonight are a reminder of everything they have to offer. The future is bright, and students like Cora are a big reason why.

BAD BUNNY DAY at Greco’s 🍦🇵🇷 was one for the books.

The milkshakes SOLD OUT. The music was LOUD. The dancing was NONSTOP. And for a little while, people from all different backgrounds came together under one roof over ice cream, music, laughter, and good vibes ❤️
