RIP to my Mom 8/1/1962-3/7/2026
We didn’t have a chance to have the mother-daughter bond that I really wanted, but we did have MOMENTS…
I am choosing to remember the GOOD TIMES.
I am choosing to recollect the things I learned from you, like how to make a really good tuna sandwich, or how to drive a stick shift. I am choosing to remember that I took you to get your first tattoo… I am choosing to love you as I said before you passed, no matter how distant we had grown from each other.
I now, truly understand that saying, ‘she is still your mother’.
Mom, you gave me LIFE. It is not always good and not always bad, but the lessons are ENDLESS. I appreciate that. I appreciate you driving 100 mph from Loudonville to Corliss Park to get me and take me to Samaritan Hospital to give birth to my daughter. That meant the world to me, that you came through when it really mattered.
Until we meet again…
