Thank yall so much for the birthday love this week!! Your continuous love and support for the Pit, my family, and myself is overwhelming! So thankful and proud to be able to serve this community!

That said, don't hate me now but I'm taking a break this weekend; there will be NO BBQ this weekend! We WILL be open Thursday and Friday from 5am-2pm serving our breakfast & diner menu w/specials, but we will close all day on Saturday. Back to regular hours Monday the 19th. Time for some much needed rest as we gear up for our next chapter and the busy holiday season!!

A SPECIAL APPRECIATION TO OUR BOSS

Travis Stryk

Owner of Stryks Pit Barbeque

Linden, Texas

Dear Travis,

We want to take a moment to say THANK YOU for everything you do for us and for Stryks Pit Barbeque.

Being a great boss is more than just owning a business. It’s about believing in your people, giving them opportunities, listening to them, and creating a place where everyone can feel like they are part of something bigger. You have done that here at Stryks Pit Barbeque.

We appreciate all the hard work, long hours, dedication, and sacrifices you put into making the PIT what it is today. Your passion for good food, good people, and the community is something that doesn’t go unnoticed.

Thank you for giving us a place where we can work hard, laugh together, grow together, and make memories along the way. Most importantly, thank you for treating your employees like family.

Stryks Pit Barbeque is more than just a restaurant — it’s a family, a team, and a place where people come together.

We are proud to be part of THE PIT CREW, and we are grateful for everything you do to keep the PIT going strong.

From all of us who have had the opportunity to work alongside you:

THANK YOU, TRAVIS, FOR BEING AN AMAZING BOSS!

We appreciate you more than words can say.

With respect and appreciation,

THE PIT CREW
